Governance

The organization is governed by a Board of Directors which holds the ultimate legal, ethical, and fiduciary responsibility for the organization’s actions, mission and sustainability. Parish Captains

Parish Captains are key drivers serving as liaisons on behalf of 50+ parishes within the Diocese in
promoting the Annual Conference. The parish captain is typically a lay volunteer leading the
effort in facilitating communication, fostering community, and promoting outreach within the
parish on behalf of the conference.

The parish captain serves as the point of contact in coordinating registrations and collaborating
with the pastor in the placement and distribution of promotional materials in church bulletins
and on the website, along with the scheduling of pulpit announcements.

Contact: Tom Oberst to become a Parish Captain.
